On Saturday July 9th, western Loudoun’s own singer/songwriter Andrew McKnight and Colorado world music guitarist/composer Michael DeLalla will bring their concert “A Global Journey in Songs & Strings” to the historic chapel of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Loudoun, 20460 Gleedsville Rd. just outside of Leesburg.

The show is a partnership with Friends of Loudoun Mental Health to help kick off their program to combat youth suicide through educational programs and activities about mental health awareness and available resources.

McKnight and DeLalla are solo artists and longtime friends who both work extensively in music with teens and young adults in their communities. Onstage they combine their wide-ranging acoustic musics into an entertaining adventure through a world of traditions in song and story. For more visit

Showtime is 8pm, and tickets are $20 at the door when doors open at 7:30pm. Seating is limited and the acoustics are pristine. The show will be an amazing journey around the world featuring Andrew’s finely crafted Americana songs blended with Michael’s delicious brew of Celtic, classical, jazz and folk influenced compositions. A night guitarists especially won’t want to miss!
