There’s something for everyone at the Infinity Arts Center (IAC) Fall Workshops Day!
Join us for some or all of the workshops throughout the day to get a taste of what IAC has to offer. Kids will enjoy a variety of applied arts and dance while adults can experience a creative outlet with wine and paint.
Watercolor Wax Resist (Drawing/Painting)
This workshop combines crayons (wax) and watercolor along with practice drawing from still life. Watercolor applied to crayon drawings spreads onto the paper except where there is wax. Juice boxes will be provided, and each student will be able to bring their artwork and workshop certificate home with them.
This workshop filled with wands, tutus, crowns, props, and basic ballet steps! Parents and guardians are invited to sit in the class with their dancer. Princesses will learn a dance routine to a song (our most popular is ‘Let it go” by Idina Menzel). This is a perfect workshop for little ballerinas who are interesting in the world of dance!
In this introductory workshop, kids will learn basic forms of Indian dance such as Bharatanatyam, Garba Raas, Bhangra, Folk, and Bollywood. The time will also include a cultural component so students learn about important facets of Indian culture and tradition. Class will end with a yoga cool down and meditation.
Sip & Paint
Age: Adults 21+
Scenery tends to be a crowd favorite in this workshop! Artistic expression paired with wine is a popular and fun way to explore color and a variety of painting techniques. Bring a friend and enjoy this unique creative outlet.
